Did you know that impairment ratings are the second-largest value driver in a PI case?
What drives the settlement value is how severely the victim was injured and how much the victim is permanently affected. That is what the Impairment Rating is objectively able to quantify.
If you don’t provide an impairment rating, the payor’s software assumes the patient has completely recovered to pre-injury status.
When do I order an Impairment Rating?
You order an Impairment Rating when the patient is complete with care and considered to be at MMI (Maximum Medical Improvement). Further treatment may still be recommended, but the Patient is finished with care for now.
Will Back-2-Wellness travel to perform Impairment Ratings?
Yes! We travel throughout Texas and Nevada. We can test at your office, or will even secure a venue in a location convenient for your clients.
Will you accept an LOP?
Yes! You may pay in advance or we will accept your LOP. We do not reduce.
Will Back-2-Wellness testify or give a deposition?
Yes. We have performed over 500 evaluations and provided testimony 30+ times. We charge by the hour for remote/online testimony or live local testimony. We charge by the day if travel is required.
